Cookie Policy
What cookies do
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you use a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking tags, can also remember information or record interactions. This policy explains their role on ep-agency.com, operated by EP Agency LTD, 45 Bayton Road, Coventry, CV6 7EL, UK. Some technical information is received through ordinary server requests without setting a cookie.
Cookies and technologies relevant to our website
Website operation. Our WordPress website and supporting services may use storage to support requested functions, security and authenticated access. WordPress login and administration cookies concern people signing in; they are not required simply to read public pages. A technology is not considered essential merely because it is useful to our business.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors reach and use our content. Where deployed and enabled, it can process page views, interactions, referral information, browser and device details, approximate location and online identifiers. Google Analytics commonly uses _ga to distinguish visitors and _ga_<identifier> to maintain session information. These are examples of Google’s cookie names, not a claim that they are placed on every visit. Collection depends on the implementation and your choices. See Google’s cookie information for more details.
Forms and other services. Our form software can send form visibility, viewing time and a temporary session identifier to this website. These signals may be processed without a persistent cookie. Submitting an enquiry or newsletter request also sends the information you enter, as explained in our Privacy Policy. The agency’s use of ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini for project work does not itself mean those services place cookies in your browser when you visit this website.
Your choices
Where applicable law requires consent for cookies or similar technologies, it must be obtained before those technologies are used. Reading this policy, scrolling or continuing to browse does not provide that consent. Technologies qualifying for a legal exception are treated according to that exception’s conditions; describing analytics here does not make it essential. You can inspect, block or delete cookies using your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking some cookies may affect sign-in or requested features. Google also offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Browser controls and that add-on have limits and do not stop every type of server-side processing or replace consent controls required on the website. For help withdrawing consent or exercising an applicable privacy choice, use our contact page.
How long cookies remain
Session cookies normally expire at the end of a browser session, although browser session-restoration features can affect this. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or are deleted. Google documents a default expiry of two years for its main GA4 cookies; website settings can shorten that period and subsequent visits may refresh it. This is a provider default, not a verified expiry for every cookie on this website. You can inspect the stored expiry in your browser. Cookie lifetimes and information retained on servers are different: our one-year standard for ordinary enquiry and client records does not automatically change a browser cookie’s expiry.
Further information and contact
Google and other providers may process information internationally. Our Privacy Policy explains providers, international processing and applicable UK, EEA and US privacy rights. If our use of cookies changes, we will update this page and obtain any additional consent required. For a cookie-related question, contact EP Agency LTD through our contact page or write to the business address above.
